MVMA publishes the MassVet News nine times per year and distributes it at no charge to member veterinarians and veterinary students. Currently, we are beta testing our newsletter online (see the link below) and beginning in 2010, the MassVet News will be available online in a members-only section of our website.
Subscriptions are $50 per year; register for a newsletter subscription if you are interested in keeping abreast of developments in Massachusetts that affect veterinarians and animals.

MVMA continues to work on providing our members with a step-by-step guide to veterinary practice emergency & disaster contingency planning. Below are forms and information provided in past newsletters as inserts to assist you in your planning process.
MVMA has somewhat dated but still relevant slides and a video that members may use for career day or similar presentations. Contact the office for information.
MVMA also has copies of "FDA and the Veterinarian." If you are a member and would like a copy, please let us know. You can also download and print a copy from the FDA's website by clicking here.
In January 2005, AVMA released the results of the AVMA-Pfizer Business Practices Study, which was designed to measure the effect of various management behaviors and actions on the incomes of practicing veterinarians. AVMA has generously provided a copy of the Executive Summary for our reference.
