HOW AVIAN INFLUENZA CAN AFFECT YOU
Veterinarians, poultry producers and backyard poultry owners
Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine along with
USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS) will host an informational forum on High Path Avian Influenza (HPAI) on
Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 6 pm in AGNES VARIS CAMPUS CENTER, 200 Westboro Rd, North Grafton MA.
Presenters: Dr. Jennifer Graham, Cummings Veterinary Medical Center, Dr. Lauren Harris & Lech Szkudlarek, USDA – APHIS.
We are seeking to educate poultry owners about the risk HPAI poses to their birds in hopes that owners will take every precaution to prevent their flocks from being exposed. Additionally, we want poultry owners to understand what will happen if their flock becomes infected. Dr Graham will discuss how to tell if your chicken is sick.
There is no charge to attend this presentation
