Susan Curtis joined the MVMA as Executive Director in January of 2010. A graduate of Boston College, Susan has spent her entire career in
business administration and management. She spent the first nine
years of her professional career working for a sports representation firm in
Boston. During the next five years of her career, Susan managed
a local speakers' bureau specializing in motivational speakers (specifically
sports personalities). In 1999 she joined Reebok International Ltd. and
spent eight years managing the operations and logistics for the Reebok Human
Rights Award Program and launching the Reebok
International Ltd. Global Corporate Citizenship Program. This dream
job brought Susan face to face with a who's who Board of Directors (President
Jimmy Carter, Peter Gabriel, Rose Styron, Anthony Romero, Paul Fireman, Rafer
Johnson, Kerry Kennedy and many more), celebrities from the arts and
entertainment world and more than 30 internationally recognized human rights
activists, all of whom made a life changing impact on
Susan. Following Reebok, Susan decided to follow her passion and continue
on the path of non-profit work. She next managed the Association of
Fundraising Professionals, The American Marketing Association and the New
England Development Research Association here in Massachusetts, a perfect
precursor for her position with the MVMA.
her time away from work, Susan spends her life with her husband, Fred. Together they are doing their best to see as much of the world as they can,
finish all the construction projects at their home and, hopefully, learn to
relax a little bit and enjoy their life together with their puppy, Rockford G. Curtis.

Kelley Zamorano joined the MVMA team as Association Administrator in November of 2015. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on Walker Air Force base and grew up in Plano, Texas. After 3 years at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas she transferred to The University of Texas at Dallas where she graduated cum laude with a major in Psychology and Special Education. Her early career was in the computer industry working for companies such as Hunt Oil and Computer Sciences Corporation. After moving to the Boston area she worked for Wang Laboratories until the birth of her first child. She and her husband started Accent Interior Landscaping, Inc. A second child was born and the company grew. Later, a career change to the health care industry allowed her to work “mother’s hours” and utilize her prior work experience. As a single parent she then focused on her kids and their various activities.
When not at work Kelley is a prolific reader. She and her boyfriend, Eric, enjoy cooking together, herding their two cats and listening to music. Her daughter Kristin lives in PA and works with special needs kids. Her son Jake attends Salem State University and is studying music.
