This interactive webinar session will discuss skills that all members of the veterinary team can utilize to develop a successful work-life balance and improve their mental health. The first two hours will discuss boundary setting, cultivating resiliency, and recognizing signs of burnout. In our final hour, we will discuss communication techniques to help manage the most stressful situations in practice-client finances and end of life discussions.

About the speaker




Kate Boatright graduated from Hiram College in 2009 with a B.A. in Neuroscience and minors in Writing and Biology. She then went on to graduate in 2013 from the University of Pennsylvania Vet School with her VMD. Currently, she sees her patients at a busy clinic and emergency care center located in Butler, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Boatright is actively involved in the veterinary community and currently serves as an AVMA Alternate Delegate, Secretary for the Northwest Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (NWPVMA), holds multiple positions within the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) and is an active Alumni Committee member of the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA). She continues to write articles for a multitude of veterinary publications and work as a freelance speaker.
