Survey - Canine Pesticide Exposure and Toxicity

The survey linked below is part of research on pesticide exposure and toxicity in dogs. This is a collaboration between Arcadia University (PA), The Center for Forensic Science Research and Education (PA), University of Florida at Gainesville (FL), and Working Dogs for Conservation (MT). One of our goals is to develop preventive, educational resources on canine pesticide exposure and toxicity for veterinarians and owners.


The aim of this survey is to gather information from veterinary professionals about their pesticide exposure experience, and to determine what sort of resources they would find most useful. A tandem goal is to publish a thorough review of canine pesticide toxicity parameters drawn from analytical and clinical settings to help canine care providers accurately identify pesticide toxicosis to enable rapid response, and to offer easily accessible information for veterinary professionals.


The survey consists of two parts. The first should take 5 minutes or less. The second part is optional, but will take an additional 10-12 minutes. If you would like to provide additional information or have any questions about the survey or the work, please contact us at:
