New Hampshire (refer to Board of Registration list HERE)

For more information on Continuing Education Requirements for veterinarians in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, please refer to the Regulations of the Board of Registration in Veterinary Medicine, which can be accessed by clicking here.

To ensure quality continuing education for veterinarians in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the MVMA Continuing Education Accreditation Committee requires all sponsoring entities to fill out an Application for Credit for Veterinary Medical Continuing Education. In addition to the completed application form, other required documentation includes:

  • a detailed description or detailed outline of the proposed program;
  • A comprehensive, current curriculum vitae (CV) is required; and
  • when sponsored by a for-profit entity or commercial interest, a "Continuing Education Disclosure Form."  This form is found toward the bottom of the CE Application form.

There is also a $25 application fee as well as a $25/credit hour cost for applying for continuing education through the MVMA. These fees are non-refundable.

You may submit your application and all accompanying materials by sending them to admin@massvet.org. For a printed version of the form, click here.

To receive the Committee’s decision prior to the program, you must submit the application and all required materials at least 30 days prior to the proposed program date.

Thank you for your request and your interest in helping keep Massachusetts veterinarians current in their education. Please contact the MVMA office if you have any questions. We look forward to learning more about your proposed program.

Sincerely,

Alison R. Gaynor, DVM, DACVIM, DACVECC
