Linda E. Luther, DVM, MVSc, DACVIM (SAIM)

Dr. Linda Luther grew up in Salem and Marblehead, MA, and received her DVM degree from the University of Minnesota (class of 1988). She worked in private practice for five years before completing a residency in small animal internal medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She became board-certified in small animal internal medicine in 1996.


From 1997 to 2020 she was the staff internist at a 10-doctor, small animal general practice in southern New Hampshire. Beginning in 2012, she has been a small animal internal medicine consultant for Antech Diagnostics. She has also worked for Sound since 2001, first as a telemedicine consultant and then since 2003 as an instructor for their ultrasound education courses.


She lives in Durham, NH with her husband Tom, several brackish and freshwater aquarium fish, and an albino African clawed frog. Outside of work, she is an avid bicyclist, and she also enjoys weight training, yoga and traveling.
