Karen Holmes

Dr. Holmes is a V’04 graduate of Tufts and worked at one practice from graduation until she opened her own practice in 2015, a busy 2+ doctor 50% bird/exotic practice in Southeastern MA. She particularly loves working with parrots, domestic birds like chickens and turkeys, as well as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other pets. In her previous career, Karen was in the field of politics and public policy, having pursued her undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University and Master’s in Politics and Public Policy from Rutgers. She worked in the Ohio legislature, ran political campaigns, consulted on public issues, and researched and published on numerous subjects at the direction of the NH legislature and NH Employment and Training Commission as Deputy Director.
