Learning Objectives:
Understand the impact osteoarthritis has on multiple domains of the dog’s life.
Acknowledge the pressures placed upon the caregiver’s budgets when managing a dog with osteoarthritis over the long term.
Comprehend and clearly convey the breadth of care required to optimally manage a dog with chronic musculoskeletal disease
Appreciate the numerous benefits of a team approach to chronic pain/ disease management and how to encourage its successful implementation
