Are you ready to sell your practice? Do you know what your practice is worth today? Preparing to sell your hospital may take longer than you think! Are you really prepared to go to the market? Learn about the considerations and steps to getting what you want in an exit strategy, whether it be a sale or a partnership. We’ll discuss key items in maximizing the value of your hospital and the steps to a successful transition. Dinner is provided with limited seating available on a first-come-first-served basis.

  1. Attendees will learn when to start planning for a possible transition of their practices and what the first steps are to take in the process.
  2. Practice owners will be able to identify the options to involve their associates in a transition to ensure the longevity of their practice post-transition.
  3. Attendees will be able to identify the different types of partnerships and understand how they differ in structure, timing and risk in a practice transition.
  4. Attendees will understand the process for marketing their practice on the corporate market to maximize the number and timing of offers.

Attendance is free but attendees must be members of the MVMA.

Chris Rocchio, DVM

Dr. Chris Rocchio founded Monarch in 2015 to help practice owners looking to transition out of ownership and to help associate veterinarians seeking to buy a practice. After starting two successful small animal hospitals in the Albany, NY area, Chris wanted to create a consulting business that would assist practice owners and associate doctors in transitioning the ownership of private practices. Over the past 10 years, Dr. Rocchio has helped over 65 veterinarians become practice owners and over 100 practice owners transition their practices to new owners.  His first-hand knowledge of both the private practice market, as well as the corporate market, makes him unmatched in his qualifications to provide transition advice to Monarch’s clients. Dr. Rocchio continues to own and operate the East Greenbush Animal Hospital with his wife, Dr. Debbie Chew.
