Join us for FREE dinner and 1 RACE-approved unit of CE hosted by the Metro Boston VMA and sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim.

Christopher Gargamelli, DVM, MBA, will present on MMVD, including an overview of myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD), ACVIM guidelines and staging, preclinical MMVD management, clinical stages of MMVD and management, dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) management, compounding data, and tools and resources.

Attendance is free but attendees must be members of the MVMA.

Christopher Gargamelli, DVM, MBA

Christopher Gargamelli, DVM, MBA is a Professional Services Veterinarian with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health based in Connecticut and providing support throughout New England. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, he was an emergency clinician at emergency and referral hospitals throughout Connecticut for 18 years. Dr. Gargamelli was also the program director and anatomy and physiology professor at an accredited veterinary technology program for 5 years.  He is a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and recently earned his MBA from Louisiana Tech University. Additionally, Dr. Gargamelli holds volunteer leadership positions with the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
