Kevin Keane

I am a veterinarian and toxicologic pathologist at Blueprint Medicines in Cambridge, MA. I am focused on the phase of pharmaceutical research that progresses candidate novel drugs from the discovery phase into human clinical trials via nonclinical toxicity studies. I also have the honor of being the Editor-in-Chief of the primary scholarly journal in my field, Toxicologic Pathology, by SAGE publishing and the official journal of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology, European Society of Toxicologic Pathology, and British Society of Toxicologic Pathology. I am very dedicated to lifelong learning in this ever-evolving scientific discipline and promote this goal through educational events associated with the International Academy of Toxicologic Pathology. I also use my veterinary training to serve as the IACUC chairperson of an AAALAC accredited lab animal facility.
