Professional Bio
I graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and completed an internship in Zoological and Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Colorado State University in 1988.
I am currently working at the Cat’s Hospital in Wellesley, MA. Previously, I was the primary doctor at VCA Metro Cat Hospital in Brookline from 9/22-12/25, until VCA shuttered our doors forever, a great loss to the Brookline community.
My expansive career includes rural and urban small animal general practice, emergency medicine and surgery, holistic medicine, house call practice and shelter medicine. This long path ultimately led to my dream of being able to focus on cats. Special interests include areas of feline care.
I live with my rescue cat from Puerto Rico, Princess Leia. My two grand kitties reside with my daughter, Kyra, who works as an artist in San Franciso.
I am avid equestrian and when not immersed in all things feline or equine, I love to visit with my daughter, hike, travel, write, and am a figure skating super fan.
