Participate in a Survey on Interpersonal Preparedness in Veterinary Practice

You are invited to participate in a research study examining interpersonal skill preparedness during the transition from veterinary training to independent practice.

The purpose of this study is to better understand which interpersonal skills matter most in veterinary clinical practice and how prepared veterinarians feel in them, so that gaps between the two can help inform training and professional development.

We are seeking participation from: rotating and specialty interns, residents, and practicing veterinarians, general practitioners (including those who entered practice directly after graduation) and board-certified specialists.

The survey focuses on communication, collaboration, and team coordination skills required for effective clinical practice. It does not address business management, practice ownership, or financial operations.

Participation is voluntary and anonymous. No personally identifiable information, including IP addresses, will be collected.

The survey takes approximately 13 to 16 minutes to complete.
